No boots.

Talula leggings (Aritzia); H&M tank; American Eagle scarf; Payless shoes;
Castellammare earrings & bangles

Although it's been unseasonably warm, I'm still trying to take advantage of the fact it's fall. See: scarf and sweater. But not boots. It's not cold enough for boots yet.

Don't get me wrong, I love boots. I just know the next 5 months will be boots-only and soon I'm going to be sofreakingtired of boots. I dunno about you, but I don't particularly want to extend their stay.

So for now, my feet get to breath in flats and my Toms. Until it gets too cold. Then I'll have to surrender to boots. I guess...

Clouds.

Dex top (via The Bay); Talula leggings (via Aritzia); Target wedges

These leggings make me feel like I have clouds on my legs.

But seriously, the weather? What is UP? We're probably 30 degrees tomorrow in Ottawa again, while the mornings have been about 5 degrees. UM HELLO. What am I supposed to wear that transitions 25 degrees in 12 hours?! :JGOIEWJLFKWEFMWE:JF

It's beyond frustrating to get dressed for work sometimes.
Sheesh, I guess there could be worse things.

Scarves and lightning bolts.

Aerie top; American Eagle scarf; Talula leggings (via Aritzia); Payless shoe; Castellammare earrings

Ohhh gooddddd I love scarves.
And the lightning bolts in my ears.
Reminding me of Harry Potter.
Speaking of Harry Potter, I may have just decided what I'm doing this weekend.
HP Marathon... Do I have enough stamina?

Wandering outfit.

American Eagle chambray; H&M tank; Talula leggings (via Aritzia); Call it Spring sandals

Oh Sudbury, you have lots of rocks. And stuff. This is my "wandering outfit" that I made sure to wear when we wandered the city.
Appropriate, no?

Also, my friends like to photobomb. Sorry.

Booed by a bouncer.

Talula blazer & leggings (via Aritzia); H&M tank; Material girls wedges

I wore this outfit probably a month ago (shhh) with a couple of girlfriends. The best late-evening appetizers outfit. Not so great for dancing later. None of us were prepared to go out dancing. As we passed a bar on our way home, a bouncer called out to us to join the only two men in the bar on the dance floor. We turned the offer down, and then got booed. For serious. Booed by a bouncer.

I still blame the outfit. It wasn't meant for dancing.

Hats. Hats. Hats.

Gap cardigan; H&M tank, hat, shoes; American Apparel leggings; Castellammare designs necklace

Linking up with Marion from MarionBerry Style for the first time in way too long for her "Trend of the Month" link-up. This month? Hats. And I remembered to bring mine home so I could force my little bro to take some shots of me wearing it.

Also I tried to look cool by standing in a field. I just have no idea what this field was of.... Weeds? Cool factor totally amplified.

The Luke.

Sunday I finished Gilmore Girls.
I'd only seen it whole thing once before, so naturally I was feeling very sad...
In spirit, I put on my best flannel top, stepped outside and posed for pictures.
An OOTD that I would later name "The Luke".
Here's to you, Luke, and your awesome flannel top collection.

Anyone else a GG fan?

Burnt orange.

And sometimes you just have to have fun when you're talking pictures of yourself.
It's not good to be serious all the time :)

In other news, I've tried Intense Debate. And I've tried Disqus. I just can't get used to another comment platform. Sorry for all the switching up, guys. I'm going to stick with blogger for now.

On repeat.

More snow... like we don't have enough already.
I'm wearing this vest so much these days. Probably because I'm in love.

Leggings.

Dynamite jacket and leggings; Costco plaid top; Call it spring boots

Kelly's arguments for wearing leggings as pants:

1) No need for a belt that fluctuates from being "too tight" to "not tight enough" all in a day... or is that just me?

2) Maximum stretch so your legs don't feel like they're suffocating. Maybe I just need to go up a pant size?

3) Ultimate comfort in ALL activities- in particular, movie watching, couch surfing, napping... All the best things to do in life.

4) In the winter when it gets cold, leggings fit well under snowpants... I admit, this is hardly an argument, but go with it.

5) If you gain a few pounds, your leggings will still love you. Unlike those jeans that decide they're too good for you, and won't let you wear them.

Do you wear leggings as pants, or are they a fashion no-no in your books?
