Running errands in comfort.

Devoted (via Zellers) top; Calvin Klein cords; Converse shoes; Old Navy scarf

I call this one "I really don't want to take outfit photos but must drag myself outside to do so". It's tiring doing all your pictures on the weekend. After about three rounds I'm just too lazy to change again. I push it off to Sunday and by then I just don't care enough to add much interest to the outfit. Hence the black and white theme. I went for comfort and simplicity while running errands in town.

I found an axe for my halloween costume though! I was on a hunt for that and suspenders. I found some great suspenders at Giant Tiger for $9 (I expected cheaper, to be honest). Then my last stop, a new party store that opened up, had a "bloody axe" on sale for $9. Sweet - an $18 costume, since I own everything else. Can't guess what I am yet? Well, you'll have to wait and see. But be forewarned, it's really not that exciting...

Are you doing anything for halloween?

  1. Haha, I try to do all my photos on the weekend too and it is kind of exhausting to do them one after the other! Can't wait to see your Halloween costume. I was invited to a Halloween party but I don't think I'm gonna go. Just dressing up the dogs this year I think :)

    1. Sometimes it's fun to just stay in. I did that last year, so this year I'm going out!

  3. Sometimes you just need a comfortable outfit! And this one certainty looks comfy enough for errands. I love the slouchy tee and neutral scarf. Super adorable!

    1. It's really not terrifying ;) The axe is probably the scariest thing about it!

  7. You're reminding me I still need to pick out the props for my costume- we're doing Alice in Wonderland & Mad Hatter, not very unique but again I have most the pieces already (for Alice at least). I really like this casual look, I've said it before and I'll say it again, you do casual well. That's such dedication that you take all your pics on weekends, do you actually end up wearing all those looks during the week?

    1. That sounds like a great costume! Much better than mine, to be honest :P
And yeah, I have to do them all on the weekend or I get horrible lighting. I'm up when it's dark (with the commute) and by the time I get home the sun is setting and pictures don't turn out right. But the outfits I show I've either worn during the week or over the weekend!
