Joe Fresh chambray top; American Eagle pants; Payless boots
Dunno 'bout you, but I feel like I'm about to jump on a horse in this outfit. The whole "riding" vibe with my fave boots, tanned pants and chambray top is getting to me.
True story, I've never been on a horse. Actually, that's not a true story. One time when I was three or four I rode a pony. I have pictures to prove to myself that I did it. Since then, I haven't been on a horse or even near a horse. They're massive and scare me a little bit. I mean, I don't think they're going to try to kill me or anything, but if that thing falls over and I'm under it, I'm done.
Even still, I think horseback riding would be kind of neat. My friend and I have mentioned going for fun, but nothing has come out of it. Maybe we'll have to seriously look into it so I can have a reason to wear my "equestrian" outfit ;)
I love this look on you! Go horseback riding! Trust me, it's a blast!
ReplyDeleteI love the equestrian look! I went horseback riding for the first time a few years ago. Not exactly sure I'd do it again, ha.

Thanks Sharon! That seems to be a popular opinion about horseback riding.. Hmm..
DeleteMy daughter is obsessed with horses, but I'm with you. The last (and I think only that I can remember) time I was on a horse was in Mexico on a beach. My ex thought it would be "fun", but the instructor guy thought it was hilarious to make the horse go super fast even though I was screaming. Horrible experience. But your outfit is super cute! Love it!
ReplyDeleteOh god, that sucks! Sounds like a scarring experience! Everyone's experiences are making me not want to go anymore... haha :P
DeleteThose boots are such a great color. I've been on a horse once and I think I'll choose to stay on solid ground :)
ReplyDeleteAren't they? And yeah, solid ground is a little easier to trust...
DeleteLove this outfit! Funny story about horse back riding- I been once in Aruba, how if you want to go you should go in Aruba the guys are so funny. I was so nervous because I have never been on one and people in Aruba are very chill "Girl if you can not relax in Aruba where are you going to relax, just let the horse to do its job" ha-ha it was a good time!

HAHA that is so awesome! Sounds like you had a good experience (as opposed to most of the other comments...) Maybe I'll have to go to Aruba to get a good horseback ride ;)
DeleteI rode a pony in the zoo once, but mom had to get me off after two minutes because I wouldn't stop crying. Dad made a video of it and showed it to Kenneth when we first started dating. SO embarrassing!
ReplyDeleteanyway, I love your boots! I saw a cute pair of black ones, but they're a bit too expensive for me right now :( x
HAH that is hilarious!! Don't you love embarrassing home movies?
DeleteThanks :) I bought these on sale at the end of the season last year. Totally lucked out!
Are those the new boots you bought to celebrate the end of your shopping ban? They're fantastic!

Actually I got these ones last year! But I've seen ads for Payless where they have a similar style again this year.
DeleteI love those boots!!! I've been looking for the perfect pair and can't seem to find them!
ReplyDeleteI'm too scared of going horseback riding, I would be the one person who would get bucked off the horse plus I wouldn't want to hurt the poor guy's back (that sounded weird lol!) LOVE this equestrian vibe, those boots are killer!
