Morning hair & my Canadian Tux.

Suzy Shier denim jacket (similar); H&M printed top (similar); Forever 21 scarf; Giant Tiger moccasins (similar); American Eagle denim

Morning hair is fun. It's like a box of Bertie Bott's every-flavour-beans - you never know what you're going to get. Sometimes it's a tangled rat-nest, as if while you were sleeping some animal was trying to make a home in your hair. Other mornings it just... is. Like today. I woke up and didn't touch it, and it looked completely normal. Sometimes you just get lucky, I guess. Those days are a blessing because I take one look at myself and decide to snooze for another 10 minutes. Yessssss.
Did you catch that Harry Potter reference? Was it just me? Okay...

Check out my denim-on-denim outfit in true Canadian fashion. I guess this is what they call a "Canadian Tuxedo". Well gosh, I AM Canadian. All I need to add here is my chambray top and I think I would have an amped-up version of the Canadian Tuxedo... But don't worry, I won't subject your eyes to THAT much denim. I'll just leave you with this outfit. Thank you, leopard print top, for making my Canadian Tuxedo look a little nicer than the ugliness it sounds like.

  1. You are so lucky this is your morning hair. My morning hair generally looks like I've stuck my hand in a socket while walking through a wind tunnel. One morning it was so bad that I had to take a picture with my phone - if I'm feeling down I simply look at that photo and burst out laughing!

    1. I very rarely brush my hair, it doesn't tangle that much. I guess some of us are lucky!

  5. I very rarely have a day where my hair looks good after sleeping on it...99.9% of the time I have to wash it on a daily basis.

Haha about the Canadian tux. I like that your jacket is cropped so it doesn't really look like denim on denim :)

    1. Thanks :) I would hate having to wash my hair everyday but most people I know have to. Mine just gets very greasy if I wash it often.

  6. hahaha Canadian tuxedos are not ugly! And kudos for morning hair! I have the same thing, sometimes it lies perfectly flat and awesome but others it's sticking up all over the place like a little hedgehog. And YES I did get the Harry Potter reference! Well done! Did you hear that JK Rowling is going to write MORE harry potter?!!?

    1. YES! I did hear that!! I am so excited I can't wait! Isn't she adding content to the already written books or something? Adding in information because she was rushed to publish some of them? Ahh I hope she writes more :)

  8. This outfit is really cute!! I love days when I wake up and my hair still looks good. Lately when it's straight before bed I put it in a high bun and when I wake up my hair has loose big waves.
