Self-control.

Forever 21 blouse; American Eagle denim, shoes (via Payless); Fossil watch

So on the weekend I ended up at the mall with a friend. We weren't supposed to go to the mall- we were supposed to go to the museum to see a wicked Mayan exhibit. After trekking an hour in the rain, including a bus transfer, we arrived at the museum only to find out that they were closed. What next? Well, the mall should provide some good entertainment, we thought. Even though I'm on a shopping ban, I can control my urges...

... Well apparently not. And I blame all you guys. I went into Forever 21 to look for some necklaces like you alllllll suggested a couple posts back. I walked out with two necklaces, a hat, and this shirt. Yup, like I said, it's all your fault.

Don't worry though, I'm not mad at you guys. I got a bunch of compliments on this blouse today, so I've decided it was okay to break my shopping ban for this shirt. Soooo I guess I forgive you all... ;)

Side note: I may also have bought a pair of shoes.... Turns out it really was my fault after all. UGH apparently I can't control myself...

  1. Haha - it's impossible to keep your cool in a mall, so don't feel too bad! Plus that top is SO cute....and love those wedges :)

  2. lol going to the mall is like a complete set up, no one will be able to control their urge to shop. That top is really cute so it was worth it! And I agree with Annie, I love those wedges!

  3. That printed top is really cute, Kelly! I've learned the only way I can continue a shopping ban is if I don't set foot in the stores in the first place...it's just too tempting!

  4. I cannot be blamed for any Forever21 shopping related issues. I told you to stay away from my blog when I had all those F21 pieces I loved :) You just didn't listen, did you?! That top is beautiful and I think breaking your shopping ban is totally justified in this instance :)

  7. Well, it is a very pretty blouse! I had an instance of self control recently too . . . it involved a lot of shoes. Woops. In the end, though, I find it is usually worth it.

  11. Oh boy, can I ever relate. My so-called "wallet lockdown" last month? Yeah, I made it about three days. Le sigh.

Still, at least you got some seriously cute swag for it. Loving that shirt!
