I saw the Hunger Games last night. I know everyone has been talking about it so I'll keep it short. Read the book, loved it. Saw the movie, liked it. It was good, but I felt like it missed a lot of the "epic-ness" of the book. Don't know how else to describe it. But it was still well done. Just fell a little short. I guess that's the way it generally goes with book adaptations though. Have you seen it? What did you think?
Loving your bright blouse - especially with that leather jacket - so cute!

looove that blouse Kelly!! And your leather jacket! Very cute. I've been looking for a fitted leather like that.
ReplyDeleteI love that bright pink top! The bow is so cute! I'm one of the few people that isn't Hunger Games obsessed...not sure if I'll see the movie.

Lovely top. I like the slight sheerness and the polka dots!
ReplyDeleteI saw the movie after reading all three books. I thought the movie was okay. The characters were perfectly cast and the acting was splendid, but for a two and a half hour movie I think they spent much of their time focusing on some parts of the plot that weren't so critical. I wanted more character development!
I'm still not jumping on the Hunger Games bandwagon, but I would jump on the "this outfit is awesome" bandwagon because I LOVE your shear top with the bow. The tough leather jacket really grounds it too.
ReplyDeleteYou summarize my feelings about the movie pretty well! Not bad, but still a little disappointing. The outfit looks great...I love the mix of "toughness" and femininity with the bow and leather :)
ReplyDeleteLove the purple blouse. You look really adorable.
ReplyDeleteI haven't gotten into Huger Games yet because of all the hype. I'm sure I'll read it in a couple months and kick myself for not picking it up sooner.
agreeed!
