Turtlenecks.

AE jeans; Suzy Shier turtleneck (old); F21 belt; Bag & scarf from eBay.ca; Aldo boots

Turtlenecks. I have never been particularly fond of them, but this one is a winner in my books. Whatever material it's made of is so warm. I don't even need a sweater! That never happens to me, so when it does, I need to tell everybody.

I don't know why turtlenecks aren't my favourite... I guess I just don't really know how to style them? It shouldn't be too hard but I guess the long neck stumps me a little.

Do you guys like turtlenecks? How do you wear them?

  1. Love this belted scarf look! You look so chic, Kelly! And you've reminded me I need to get a leopard scarf. :)

I used to wear turtlenecks and then I realized I hated how they felt on my neck, too confining for me! But they are probably perfect for Canadian winters!

  3. I am not a huge fan of turtle necks either lol, mostly because I find they itch my neck or make me feel clastrophobic a little bit. You look so good in all black and I like the scarf. It adds a very edgy touch to the outfit.

  5. I like to layer mine under other shirts/sweaters/what have you. Maybe a bit of a cop-out, but oh well. Also, you look so chic in this outfit! Love the all-black/leopard print combo.

  7. Turtlenecks ARE hard. I have several and always struggle with them.

But you totally rock it, and the belted scarf is such a perfect addition.

  8. Being claustrophobic, turtlenecks have never been my friend. This year I decided to give them a try and I pretty much live in them, especially in this Canadian cold. I throw on a pair of light washed jeans and a turtleneck and I'm good to go :)

PS. You are one classy lady..love the animal print scarf!
