Moving.

In a couple of month's I'll be moving.

F21 blazer; H&M Tights, socks, and dress; Payless boots

... Back in with my parents. Something I never thought I'd do, but it makes the most sense at this stage in my life.  I'm pretty much finished school and haven't even had the time to look for a job. Why would I pay rent in the city, and seriously eat into my savings, when I have no idea what I'll be doing in a month? Especially considering it's not easy to find Marketing positions in Ottawa... It makes financial sense, and it will give me the ability to re-calibrate. After finishing school, I will need some down-time. Time to myself. I always have to have a plan, and I want to figure it out without any large financial burdens pressuring me to decide quickly or else bills won't be paid.

We've put in our two-months notice at our apartment. I feel sad that January will be our last month there. At the same time, I feel like this is something I need to do for myself. I'm sure I will end up back in the city eventually, I'm just not sure when yet. We'll just have to see what the future has in store for me!

  1. Very cute outfit! Love those boots. Living on your own and dealing with everything that comes with it can be stressful. So I think moving back in with your parents so you can take time and figure everything out sounds like a great idea.

  2. That's always tough, but in this economy it's often necessary. I read somewhere that here in the States, something like 85% of my graduating class (2010) moved back home. On the bright side, your outfit is adorable :)

  3. I cannot imagine living with my parents again, I moved out when I was 18, we always fought like cats and dogs, actually I don't think they would let me move back in, lol. You are lucky to have that safety net, and welcomeness extended to you!

I love how you are using your belt here! adorable!

  4. I love all the neutrals in this outfit. The white socks peeking above the boots are great.
I moved back in with my parents after college too. Just for a couple months but it was definitely the right thing to do until I found a 'real job'. You know... one with health insurance.
