The only problem with the gym: your legs get bigger.

Although this is a good thing (because I'm being active and healthy), it's annoying when my pants get too tight. Like these ones. I feel like the hulk about to burst out of some of my jeans. This is no good. And I'm not going to stop going to the gym, so I guess I need to figure out how to stretch these or retire them...

Aside from my legs, there's some neon in this outfit. Mostly because I'm linking up with EBEW's neon challenge. Woooooooooooooo! I bought this shirt at H&M a couple months ago and it's one of my favourite tees at the moment. The baggy cut, wide neck and rolled up sleeves rock. I think this top was $10? Steeeeeal. Although, I feel like a bit of a watermelon in this outfit. Pink, green, and spots of black. Hmm...

Neon. Oh how you draw so very much attention. And somehow you can brighten up a room with your very presence. Honestly, this shirt reflects light like no other - it's highlighter pink!  I picture myself wearing this at the beach in the warmer weather, but for now I pair it with cropped pants.

The other day Joe Fresh posted the following question on Facebook: "what trend do you hope will never come back?" The answers ranged but I'm wearing three of the most popular right now: high waisted pants, neon and capris. And I love them! So take that, trend haters.

However, I do have my fair share of trends that I hope never come back: mom jeans (the really ugly high-waisted, straight-legged, sorta-baggy grossness), uggs (I know they're still "in" but I wish they would go away), and flatforms (currently taking off, but I just really don't like them. At all).

Surprisingly I didn't take too many pictures of the weekend, but here's what I did manage to capture. If you follow me on instagram or have seen Twitter recently, you've probably seen some of these: 

(1) Enjoying a glass of wine with our steak dinner. (2) Our new neon tops. (3) Incognito. (4) Swings that make music. Seriously. (5) My shopping haul. (6) Neon nails, already chipping.. (7) Chilling to my music on the trip home.

Definitely one of the best weekends in a while. I hope you guys had a great weekend too!

So there you have it: spring is officially here. See the tiny bits of snow left behind? Crazy that in literally 3 days we went from having a foot of snow to nothing at all. And this week we've got June weather. It's kind of fabulous.
