These outfit shots were taken during my recent trip to the big T.O.
When walking around the city all day, your outfit needs to be easy and comfortable.
I love my faux leather jacket because it's the best wind-breaker I've known, and it rocks.
Heels? No thanks. These shoes are a few years old and fully broken-in for walking all day.
Jeggings have enough stretch for comfort.
A striped shirt is classic.
So there you have it. My out & about outfit.
Happy Friday everyone!

Little striped dress.
This doesn't happen very often, but I am blogging the outfit that I am currently wearing. How is that for real life?!
Today I went shopping and splurged on a few things- another pair of jeans (same style as these, but in a different wash), a light chambray top (cause I still didn't own one), a couple scarves and other basics. With a limited shopping budget, I'm trying to be very careful about what I'm spending my money on. I think I did pretty good today. No more shopping for the next month for me!
Do you stick to a strict shopping budget or are you flexible with what you buy?

Coral + stripes + white pants + leopard print.
Forever 21 tank; American Eagle jeans; Payless shoes; GAP bag
Special thanks to this guy for taking his sweet time getting on his bike.
Thanks for not staring at me. I can tell because you were in every single picture looking away.
On purpose? Probably.
Does it make me a creeper if I just took 30 photos of this dude by accident?
Happy Friday!!
Trendy bargains.
Suzy Shier denim jacket; Costco dress; eBay scarf; ALDO oxfords
So erm, I scored this pretty sweet t-shirt dress at Costco for $15 the other day. Even though I have a $0 clothing budget for the month. Thanks Costco for having random wonderful finds. The stripes are right on trend, the dress is the perfect length to be worn at work, and it is so ridiculously comfy. For serious.
I kind of want to go back and get the black one...
Nautical pencil skirts.
Forever 21 skirt; Joe fresh striped top; Forever 21 belt; Payless flats
I instagrammed this outfit last week. Then it snowed on Friday and I realized I'd be taking photos of this re-created outfit in the snow. At least my flats held it together.
I love the nautical vibes of the stripes and the red belt. And this jersey pencil skirt from Forever 21 is one of my favourite buys probably ever. For $12 it's lasted a heck of a long time.
Mistfits.
I liked this outfit.
I pulled out pieces from my closet that I hadn't worn in a while,
put them together,
and voila.
Except these boots.
I've been wearing them a lot.
They rock my socks off.
But not literally.
That would be cold.
Stripes & dots.
I've had this stupid headache for two days now and it won't go away.
I promise to catch up on your blogs when I don't feel like my screen is piercing my eyeballs.
I better not being coming down with some other sickness; I just got over my cold.
Give me a break world!
All about watermelon.
Self-made dress; Forever 21 shoes; Dynamite belt
Let's take this post to talk about watermelon.
If you know me at all, you know I have a food obsession. Yes, it's probably unhealthy. No, it'll never change. I love my food. I eat what I love. I don't care. Moving on.
Watermelon is the fruit of the summer. I could eat half a watermelon in a sitting - I have done it before. And I'm talking a serious watermelon, not one of those mini baby things. My favourite way to eat it is cut up in chunks with a fork because I hate getting my hands sticky, but there are a few other ways I must try:
1. Watermelon/Strawberry Slush. This looks amazing and extremely refreshing, especially on super hot days.
2. In a salad. I've had something similar at a restaurant and it was the perfect mix of flavours. I need to re-create this at home!
3. Who doesn't love their tortilla chips? Well here's a recipe for some watermelon salsa. Sounds seriously awesome.
So if you don't like watermelon, sorry about this whole post. You won't have learned anything very exciting. If you love watermelon like me, I hope you enjoyed some of my links and maybe we can have a cook-off and introduce new ways of eating watermelon into each others lives?
Do you have a favourite summer fruit?
Maxi.

H&M dress; Forever 21 sandals; Suzy Shier sunnies
Can you believe this is my first time wearing my maxi this year?! I know - how the heck did THAT happen? This summer has literally flown by and mid-July I realize I haven't broken out my maxi. Or about 1/2 of my summer dresses. This MUST change before the end of July.
Over the weekend I went shopping with a cousin of mine. I found some great finds from Forever 21 that you will have the pleasure of seeing over the next few weeks on the bloggy blog. Other than shopping, I watched a bunch of movies. Magic Mike on Friday, The Last Song and part of Marley and Me on Saturday, and Hangover II and an indie documentary about a random sushi place on Sunday. Sometimes I wonder if it's possible to run out of movies to watch?
What did you guys do this weekend?
