Likely a repeat.
This is likely a repeat outfit, but I honestly don't care. There's just something so perfect about chambray and black. Add a pop of colour, and you're set.
Colour at the office.
Forever 21 button-up; Dynamite cardigan; American Eagle denim; Call it Spring shoes
Thanks everyone for your sweet comments yesterday. I'm keeping my chin up - life only gets you down if you let it.
Now a little story about wearing bright colours at the office... I always get thrown off guard when a coworker that I have never met makes a comment about what I'm wearing. I mean, when I wore my green jeans to work, some random old guy made a comment about how he "loved" my pants. For a second, I was all creeeeepyyyy, then I realized who cares? They're awesome and he's right. Today, I went to the cafeteria a record of three times and a completely random other guy was there twice. Once I wore my pink shoes, but downgraded to flats after lunch cause my feet hurt. Out of the blue he goes "you changed your shoes". Umm, what? How the heck do people remember these things?
I've decided it has to do with colour. Not a lot of people wear brights to work and when someone does, it sticks out. Like these shoes, or my green jeans. Whether they see them and think "oh my gosh, who wears pink shoes?" or they think "way to go, she's wearing pink shoes" or they just think "pink shoes?" I don't care. My shoes made an impact on them today. And that's the fun part of fashion :)
A top 3 list, but not about fashion.

On Sunday I went to see Total Recall with my mom. We're awesome and go to movies together, it rocks. And then there she was - Kate Beckinsale. No, not at the movie theatre, but on the big screen...
See, I have a top 3 list. A list of the top three Hollywood actresses that I have girl crushes on. I like men, but you know, girls have girl crushes too. These are my three:
1. Rachel McAdams. Stunning. I just watched The Notebook over the weekend and sometimes had a hard time figuring out who to stare at: her or Ryan Gosling. Seriously.
2. Kate Beckinsale. Since her role in Pearl Harbour, I have been one of her biggest fans. She just has such perfect facial features, and her hair...my god, how is her hair always so perfect?
3. Emma Stone - the striking red-head. Though she can pull off brown quite nicely, I'm not sure how I feel about the blonde...
Now, if you asked me to list my top 3 Hollywood actors, I would have to tell you I haven't ever thought about it. Maybe I'll go think about it now and report back to you guys another time.
Happy Tuesday!
Polka dots.
Dynamite top and black pants; Spring shoes; Fossil watch
So for months now I've been saying I don't have enough polka-dots in my wardrobe. I was shopping at Dynamite the other day and came across this awesome top. I don't know why, but I have a hard time justifying spending over $20 on a small cami like this, but the polka-dots meant making an exception. I brought this baby home with me. I also picked up some black skinnies because my American Eagle ones got chewed by the dog. Thanks again, pup.
So back onto my polka-dot love - it's obviously not just contained to tops. A few months ago I bought polka-dotted shoes (as seen here and here). Now I have an new obsession with these American Eagle polka-dotted jeggings...

The obsession is growing, my friends.
How do you feel about polka dots?
Photo dilemmas.
Dynamite top; H&M pants; Spring shoes; Forever 21 necklace
I didn't realize how long the grass was until I saw these pictures played back. I didn't want to take pictures on the road today because my annoying neighbour across the street was mowing his lawn. More specifically, the part that reaches the street. I'm pretty sure he knows when I take outfit photos and plans his mowing around it, because this is the 2nd time that's happened this week... I mean, I would probably be curious too if my neighbour came outside every day with a camera & tripod, took a few pictures of herself, and then went back inside. If I wasn't exposed to the world of style blogging, I would be 110% confused and curious.
Oh the fun dilemmas us style bloggers face...
