The place.

I know a few of you (hi, Line!) have been waiting to see pictures of my new place. It's a bachelor apartment in the heart of the city. Totally a city slicker now!

And then the details...

{storage for everything on my dresser}

{The shoe collection. No, it's not all of them.}

And this is my favourite lamp & how I wind down after a day at the office. I love the soft "romantic" lighting (sans romance, ya know).


I am still missing so many things: 

- Photographs of friends & family
- A big picture to put above my bed
- A curtain for my closet to cover the clothing
- Some pretty flowers to put in the vase
- Colourful cushions for the couch

Once I've got these I might do another post of all the little details. 
But for now, this is what you guys get!

    I'm a big fan of that wall colour too!! Wish we could paint our apartment (we could but it has to go back white -- not worth the hassle!)

      Thanks Kimiko! I know, I was told that if the next renter doesn't like the colour I'll need to paint it back to white, but I really liked the colour so I decided to keep it.

    I love the color of the walls in the bedroom and those breezy curtains! I have that exact same Ikea dresser in my bedroom :)

      Thanks Emma! The apartment was painted this colour when I first moved in and I loved it enough to keep it. I'm not usually a purple person but this shade totally works.

    I LOVE it!! Perfect for a single gal living the city life :) I really like your dove grey couch against the lilac walls, the pop of white trim and the fact that you actually have ceiling fixtures! Oh and those fantastic breezy curtains.
