Outfit post coming up soon with this ensemble!
My hair is naturally wavy, but over the last year I've become addicted to blowdrying it straight.
So much, in fact, that I've lost a lot of my natural wave. My hair is definitely angry with me.
I miss my natural curl, but it's hard to air-dry your hair when its below 0 and being wet = freezing. Next best thing? My diffuser.
I've been using my diffuser a couple times a week to help enhance any curls, and it's been working pretty well so far. We shall see if this works to bring my waves back :)
Any tips on how to enhance natural wave/curls? I'm taking notes.
totally keep the natural wave more often; the curl will come back!
ReplyDeleteit looks gorgeous & effortlessly chic!

My hair is naturally wavy too, but I find that a diffuser takes forever for my hair to dry. When I wear it wavy, I usually just let it air dry with some product in it.

You have such beautiful hair and I love the new design of your blog. It's so pretty and different than your standard blog.
ReplyDeleteThanks! :)
DeleteI love the natural wave in your hair!! I am jealous... I wear my hair in a braid to have it look like that only to have it fall back out again.
ReplyDeleteYou should def. wear your natural waves more often! I love it! I think not straightening it so much should help your waves come back, the same thing has happened to me. I'll usually wash my hair at night and let it air dry through out the night.
ReplyDeleteI know, I just re-discovered how much I like them :P I'll cut back on the straightener and I'll have to start letting it air dry more often. Thanks :)
DeleteOoh PS. LOVE your new layout!!
ReplyDeleteWow I didn't realise your hair wasn't straight naturally! A good curl defining + moisturising product (that's not crunchy) helps - Redken have a good one. And don't diffuse until completely dry - leave a bit to air dry. Looks lovely! :)

Hmm not crunchy - okay, I'll have to look into that. Thanks for the tips!!
DeleteI like it!!!
ReplyDeleteI lost my diffuser... I think it's time for a new hairdryer.
Your hair is so gorgeous and long! I can never get mine that long :(
ReplyDeleteI have naturally curly hair and it definitely looses its curl when I go overboard with the blowing it out, so when I want to get it back, I wear it curly as much as possible and soon it springs back to life. And yeah, the diffuser is a must :)
Your natural wave is gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteI have the same problem as you, my hair is wavy, but it's so hard to let it air dry on work days (plus, it has a mind of it's own and goes a little crazy) but years of flat ironing have left it much less curly than before - I'm almost starting to regret all the damage I've done. Hopefully the curl will come back.
