Don't hog the clearance rack.

I was at my local store that sells Joe Fresh, perusing the clearance rack. It's a pretty darn huge rack. And someone was just standing in the middle, looking at the same thing for a good 5 minutes.
So I move past her to the knits. I pick up this amazing sweater, and she looks over at me. Sees the sweater. Moves over to my rack and starts sifting through to find another one.
I notice she can't find one in the same colour, so she picks up a gray one, clearly annoyed that I found it first.
Because my cream one was a couple sizes too big, I see a second gray in a smaller size and grab it quickly. She's left standing at the clearance rack watching me walk away with the sweater she could have had. 

 I ended up liking the oversized look, so I stuck with the bigger, cream coloured sweater.

Moral of the story: Don't hog the clearance rack. You might watch someone walk away with something better.

    I love how the feminine look of the sweater contrasts with the more tomboy hat/jeans/boots. The sweater itself is such a great find, I'm definitely jealous as well :)

    Ugh I hate when people do that... but at the same time I think I've totally been envious of a person next to me finding the last item that I want. I'd probably scan the fitting room racks after she leaves to see if left it behind :)

    It can get kinda push and shove at the racks.... watch out at Victoria's Secret's semi-annual sale.... lesson learned!! Grab and sort through afterwards ;)

    It's why I avoid the super sales. I hate to see other people walking around in the huge crowds with the dress or top I really really really wanted to find! Haha! Love the sweater, and I NEED a Joe Fresh in my life :( x

    Hahaha that is definitely the moral of the story! My sales rack strategy is to do the speedy scan, grab anything that looks like it even MIGHT be good, and then do the slow peruse :)

    Love the camo hat, great casual look! I also have the same pet peeve with people hogging racks. So it's kinda a love-hate relationship with sales, because those are always the racks that get super crowded!
