#Yolo.

Dynamite blazer; Forever 21 top, skirt, necklace; H&M shoes

Yolo. The word that can be found just about everywhere. And until a few days ago, I had no idea what it meant. I was visiting my family and asked my 15-year old cousin to explain. She said it stood for "you only live once". Phew, I'm finally in the loop again.

Moments like these are when you realize you're losing the cool factor. You're losing touch with your inner high-school teen-speak. You don't know what the cool things to say are anymore. I mean, back in my teen-speak days, "woot" was pretty much the bomb, and that got really irritating, really quickly.

What I'm trying to say is I no longer feel cool anymore because I apparently can't keep up with the "cool things to say". Just another reminder that every day I'm getting older and I should be living every day to its fullest. Why? Yolo :)

Happy Friday lovelies!

  1. Every time I see YOLO I have to ask someone what it means again- which is clearly a sign that I have dementia. Great colored blazer!

  3. Matt and I had this same conversation last night! We were watching the VMAs and trying to figure out who some of the performers were. I knew more than he did, though. HA!

    1. Right?! I probably wouldn't even recognize 50% of the performers...

  7. WOOT WOOT! :D We are from the same era, definitely reminder that one! I think one of the teenage heartthrobs has yolo tattoed on his wrist, Zac Efron perhaps? Anyways I don't think I could drop that word into regular convo with ease! Great colour blazer- what a perfect fall/winter piece!
