Also, I know this is totally old news, and we've all heard the Google Reader thing going on.  Just want to say a couple things:
1) You can import all your Google Reader blogs into Bloglovin' using this tutorial.
2) You can follow me by clicking on this fancy schmancy button and I will love you forever. I promise. Forever is a long time...

Stripes & dots.

I've had this stupid headache for two days now and it won't go away.
I promise to catch up on your blogs when I don't feel like my screen is piercing my eyeballs.
I better not being coming down with some other sickness; I just got over my cold.

Give me a break world!

A weekend to celebrate.

Blue Harbour men's plaid top; Old Navy vest; Garage leggings; Sirens boots

Tomorrow is my birthday! There's nothing better than having a birthday on a Saturday. I can do whatever I want all day. It's pretty great that work won't be getting in the way of my happiness!

Tonight my parents are taking me out for dinner and then tomorrow I'm headed for dinner with some friends + a little partying. Duh. I finally found my birthday dress so I'll make sure to take pictures and show you all. It was one of those moments where I put on the dress and it was perfect. That doesn't happen often, so I'm excited to wear it!

Reflecting back on 22, I went through more changes in my life than I had for years. Some of them wonderful, others not-so-wonderful, and some blessings in disguise. Either way, I think 23 is going to be a good year filled with more "ups" :) I can just feel it. Feeling, you better not be wrong...

It's a wrap.

Joe Fresh wrap sweater (similar); Forever 21 button-up; Dynamite slacks (similar); Sirens boots (similar); Castellammare leaf necklace

...Wrap sweater!!! Favourite part of fall? All the cozy sweaters and things that I can wrap myself in all nice and warm. Wearing something like this to work makes me feel like I'm back home, on my couch, wrapped in a blanket.
Well maybe not quite.
But it's the closest thing I'll get when I'm at the office.

What's everyone doing this weekend? My plans are no plans :) The last few weekends I've been up late and it's messed with my sleep schedule. This weekend I plan on catching up on sleep, reading a few books, and maybe watching a few movies. I would say shopping but I'm still on a freaking shopping ban that seems to never end...

April showers.

Dynamite shirt; American Eagle jacket & jeans; Sirens boots

Bah, my shirt is so wrinkled and I didn't even notice. It's probably been like that all day. Aweeesommeeeeeeee.

And you see how gloomy it is out? I had to photoshop these pictures to make it look lighter because my face was pretty much just a shadow. Sun, where have you gone?! I guess April showers bring May flowers, but what if I want flowers now? i.e. March showers bring April flowers? Or better yet, February showers bring March flowers. That would be lovely. And completely unrealistic for Canada. Now I'm just rambling...

Know what? I feel like I should share this with you all... I haven't shopped in almost 3 weeks. It's a miracle. Easter Sunday had some great online deals at F21 and AE but I resisted the temptation of 25% off and/or free shipping. My credit card will be happy with me this month :)

A Faux-Pas.

Busted.

This has got to be a fashion blogger faux-pas: wearing the same pants two posts in a row. Sometimes we can get away with it because they're basics like black or denim, but these green ones are a little more obvious. I didn't want to, but when Kayla's prompt was for a group "Open to Interpretation", I had to. This was the best way for me to interpret the outfit that she gave. Which was this:

Now you can see why the green pants were mandatory - they're nearly the same colour! Also I have no fun and colourful pencil skirts...Here's my interpretation:

Winners jeans; Old Navy sweater; F21 blouse & belt; Sirens booties

I took a more casual approach to the dressier picture that she posted, but you guys have no idea how much I wish I could go bare-legged right now!  Check out how the others interpreted the group OTI!

PS: This blog now has FACEBOOK! Check me out here, or by clicking the orange F button on the left hand side of the page! Sorry for being so behind the times ;)
