Dress Code.

American Eagle jeans, necklace & plaid top; Costco blazer; Spring boots

Seriously, I love my job.  You'll be surprised to know, though, that it's not because of the work. It's because of the dress code. I am able to get away with wearing this kind of outfit on a regular basis. And to be honest, compared to some of the other employees this is very dressy. Um, what? It is pretty awesome.

But seriously, wearing dress-pants every day gets both boring and uncomfortable. If I had it my way, I'd wear jeans all of the time.  Lucky for me, if I decide to do that at my work I'm able to get away with it. :)

Today is FRIDAY! Which is awesome. And that means that the weekend is finally almost here! What are your weekend plans? I've got a very long overdue visit with a couple of friends tonight. Can't wait!

Spring Shopping Bug.

If you're anything like me, you've caught the shopping bug. The one that comes around at this time of year. The worst one of them all - it brings you colours, lighter layers, and slightly more exciting styles than fall. It's so hard not to give in.

This is next on my shopping list. I'll be lucky if I get half of these wonderful things...

American Eagle Skinnies - white
American Eagle Skinnies - yellow
Zara - Short Trench
Old Navy -  Polkadot Blouse
Old Navy -  Faux Leather Tote
Spring -  Two-toned Pump
Dynamite - Blouse
American Eagle - Minnetonka Moccasins
Forever 21 - Floral Scarf

What's made it onto your spring wish-list?

Blah.

Joe Fresh top & cardigan; Mossimo (target) jeans; Spring shoes

This outfit is kind of boring. Not gonna lie. I don't know if I like the belt, and there isn't much colour. You guys all know how much I love having that pop of colour. Next time I'll switch up either the blouse or cardigan. Or maybe wear different shoe with these pants. Blah.

By the way, sunshine = love. It's supposed to be super warm today, so here's hoping some of the snow will disappear!!!

Oh, and happy hump day! I can't believe it's Wednesday already.

Brights.

Joe Fresh cardigan; Forever 21 shirt; AE jeans; Spring shoes

If only it were spring and I could pull off some white denim with this bright ensemble. And wedge sandals. Or even just flats. Oh the possibilities!

But first, all this darn snow needs to melt.

It's all alright.

... it IS snowing...

AE jeans; Old Navy vest; Joe Fresh shirt; Spring boots; F21 belt

Its still winter here and I keep flipping back and forth between spring-y and winter-y outfits. Today is definitely winter-y. We got a bunch of snow last week and I was inspired to wear something warm and cozy: cue knit vest and stripes.

After a kick-butt weekend I'm off to work for another week. Let's hope its even just a little as awesome.

Inspired look.

Costco (men's) plaid shirt; H&M dress; Walmart tights & boots

This outfit was inspired by a recent pin (below). I couldn't help but love the over-sized plaid shirt layered over the dress. Unfortunately for me it's still too cold to go bare-legged, so I had to add the black tights.

TGIF!!! Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!

Men's Shirts.

Costco - Chaps brand (men's) shirt; Dynamite pants; Walmart boots; Forever 21 necklace

Today I'm rockin' the men's shirt. There's just something about a men's shirt that makes me feel wonderful - the baggy and comfortable fit, the way it slouches down my arms... There's nothing about wearing a men's button-up that I don't love. Nothing.

Also thank you for everyone's sweet comments on my blog-i-versary post. If I could hug you all I would, but I can't. So let's settle for an e-hug. If that's too awkward for you, here's a smile - :)
